ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಕೆಲ ಕಾನೂನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ಆದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಟ್ರಂಪ್ ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಫೇಸ್​ಬುಕ್​ ಹಾಗೂ ಟ್ವಿಟರ್​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ ಗಳಿಂದ ಭಾರಿ ವಿರೋಧ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಕೆಲ ಕಾನೂನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ಆದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಟ್ರಂಪ್ ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಆದೇಶವು 1996ರ ಸಂವಹನ ಸಭ್ಯತೆ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯ ಸೆಕ್ಷನ್ 230 ಅನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ದೂರಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಆದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಿರೋಧ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆದೇಶ ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
