Pundit Shivakumar Sharma No More : ಖ್ಯಾತ ಸಂತೂರ್​ ವಾದಕ ಪಂಡಿತ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್​ ಶರ್ಮಾ ಇಂದು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಹೃದಯಾಘಾತದಿಂದ ವಿಧಿವಶರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರಿಗೆ 84 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಾಗಿತ್ತು..

ಮುಂಬೈ(ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ) : ಖ್ಯಾತ ಸಂಗೀತ ಮಾಂತ್ರಿಕ, ಸಂತೂರ್​ ವಾದಕ ಪಂಡಿತ್​ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್​​ ಶರ್ಮಾ ಹೃದಯಾಘಾತದಿಂದ ನಿಧನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರಿಗೆ 84 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಳೆದ ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳಿಂದ ಕಿಡ್ನಿ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಇವರು ಡಯಾಲಿಸಿಸ್​ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಇಂದು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಹೃದಯಘಾತಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾಗಿ ಇಹಲೋಕ ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

1938ರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಮ್ಮುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್​ ಶರ್ಮಾ ಅವರು ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಸಂಗೀತದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಚಾಪು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಸಂತೂರ್​ ವಾದಕರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಇವರು, ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಬಾಲಿವುಡ್​​ನ ಚಾಂದಿನಿ, ಸಿಸಿಲಾ, ಡರ್​​ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅನೇಕ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಗೀತ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು.

ಕೇವಲ 13 ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಸಂತೂರ್​ ನುಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಇವರು, 1955ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂಬೈನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಪ್ರಥಮ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಂತೂರ್​ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯತೆ ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರ ಸಾಧನೆ ಗುರುತಿಸಿ 1991ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ಮತ್ತು 2001ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪದ್ಮ ವಿಭೂಷಣ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
