ನವದೆಹಲಿ : ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ, ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭಾ ಹಾಲಿ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಆಸ್ಕರ್ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಅವರ ನಿಧನಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ರಾಮನಾಥ್‌ ಕೋವಿಂದ್‌, ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಸೇರಿ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಕಂಬನಿ ಮಿಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಂಸದರಾದ ಆಸ್ಕರ್ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಇನ್ನಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ದುಃಖವಾಯಿತು.
ಅವರು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇರೂರಿದ್ದ ಹಾಗೂ ಜನರ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬದ್ಧರಾಗಿರುವ ನಾಯಕರು. ಮೃತರ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ, ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಗರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಂತಾಪವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ರಾಮನಾಥ್‌ ಕೋವಿಂದ್‌ ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
