ಗುರ್ಗಾಂವ್(ಹರಿಯಾಣ): ವಾಹನ ನೋಂದಣಿ ಪತ್ರ ಇಲ್ಲದೇ, ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್ ಧರಿಸದೇ ಸ್ಕೂಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸಿದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಗುರುಗ್ರಾಮದ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ 23,000 ರೂ. ದಂಡ ವಿಧಿಸಿ, ಸ್ಕೂಟಿ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 1ರ ನಂತರ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸುವಂತೆ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಬ್ರೇಕ್ ಮಾಡಿದವರಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಹಾಗೂ ದಂಡದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದರ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಪ್ರರಿಣಾಮ, ಗುರುಗ್ರಾಮದ ದಿನೇಶ್ ಮದನ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಭಾರಿ ದಂಡ ತೆರಬೇಕಾಯ್ತು.

ದಂಡ ತೆತ್ತ ಬಳಿಕ ಮಾತನಾಡಿರುವ ದಿನೇಶ್ ಮದನ್, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ಕೂಟಿಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯ ಅಂದಾಜು 15,000 ರೂ. ಅಷ್ಟೇ. ಆದರೆ ದಾಖಲೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೇ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದಿಂದ ದುಬಾರಿ ದಂಡ ತೆರಬೇಕಾಯ್ತು. ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಹನದ ಎಲ್ಲ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆಯದೆ ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
