नई दिल्ली : भारत और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच 2 फरवरी को अहमदाबाद में हुए तीसरे टी20 मुकाबले में स्टार बल्लेबाज शुभमन गिल ने 126 रनों की नाबाद पारी खेली. इतना ही नहीं गिल ने अपने टी20 इंटरनेशनल करियर का पहला शतक भी लगाया. गिल ने मैच में ताबड़तोड़ बल्लेबाज करते हुए भारतीय टीम को जीत दिलाई. इस जीत के बाद इंडिया टीम के कप्तान हार्दिक पांड्या ने शुभमन गिल का इंटरव्यू लिया. इसका वीडियो बीसीसीआई ने सोशल मीडिया पर शेयर किया है, जिसमें गिल अपनी परफॉर्मेंस के बारे में बात करते दिख रहे हैं.
इस मैच में शुभमन गिल ने अपनी शानदार पारी को लेकर कहा कि उन्होंने कुछ अलग नहीं किया है. केवल अपना स्वाभाविक खेल खेला है. हार्दिक पांड्या के सवाल का जवाब देते हुए गिल ने कहा कि 'जब आप प्रैक्टिस करते हैं और इसका रिजल्ट मिलता है तो अच्छा लगता है. टीम के लिए अच्छी पारी खेलकर बहुत खुश हूं. छक्के मारने के लिए सबकी अपनी तकनीक होती है. हार्दिक भाई ने मुझसे कहा कि मैं अपना स्वाभाविक खेल खेलूं और मुझे कुछ अलग करने की जरूरत नहीं हैं. इस मुकाबले में भारतीय गेंदबाजों ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए न्यूजीलैंड को 168 रनों पर समेट दिया था.

इंटरव्यू लेते समय हार्दिक पांड्या ने शुभमन गिल को बताया कि वह मैदान पर फैसले लेते समय अपने मन की सुनते हैं. पांड्या ने कहा कि 'मैंने हमेशा इसी तरह से खेल खेला है. मैं स्थिति को समझकर समय की जरूरत के हिसाब से फैसला करता हूं.' वहीं, हार से निराश न्यूजीलैंड के कप्तान मिशेल सेंटनर ने अच्छा क्रिकेट खेलने के लिए भारतीय टीम की सराहना की. यह मैच अहमदाबाद के नरेंद्र मोदी स्टेडियम में खेला गया था. भारत ने मैच जीतकर 2-1 से सीरीज अपने नाम कर ली.
