माराडोना के निधन पर क्रिकेट जगत ने जताया शोक

भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान सचिन तेंदुलकर ने महान फुटबॉलर डिएगो माराडोना के निधन पर शोक जताते हुए कहा है कि फुटबाल और खेल जगत ने अपने महानतम सपूतों में से एक को खो दिया है. उल्लेखनीय है कि महान फुटबॉल खिलाड़ी माराडोना का 60 साल की उम्र में बुधवार को निधन हो गया.

नई दिल्ली : दुनिया के महानतम क्रिकेट खिलाड़ियों में शुमार वेस्टइंडीज के सर विवियन रिचर्ड्स ने महान फुटबॉलर डिएगो माराडोना के निधन पर शोक जताते हुए कहा है कि यकीन नहीं हो रहा है कि फुटबॉल का महानायक अब इस दुनिया में नहीं रहा.

सचिन ने 1986 विश्व कप की जीत के बाद ट्रॉफी लिए अपने साथियों के कंधे पर सवार माराडानो की तस्वीर साझा करते हुए लिखा है, "फुटबाल और खेल जगत ने अपने महानतम सपूतों में से एक को खो दिया. आपकी आत्मा को शांति मिले डिएगो. आपकी याद आएगी."

इससे पहले बीसीसीआई के अध्यक्ष और सचिन के साथी सौरव गांगुली ने ट्वीट करते हुए माराडोना को याद किया और लिखा, "मेरा हीरो नहीं रहा. मेरा मैड जीनियस अब जीवन मरण के चक्र से मुक्त हुआ. मैं तो सिर्फ तुम्हारे लिए फुटबॉल देखा करता था."

अर्जेटीना को 1986 में विश्व विजेता बनाने वाले माराडोना का दिल का दौरा पड़ने से निधन हो गया. निधन से कुछ दिन पहले इसी महीने सिर में ब्लड क्लोट की उनकी सर्जरी हुई थी. अर्जेटीना के पूर्व मिडफील्डर और मैनेजर का खेल के सर्वकालिक महान खिलाड़ियों में गिना जाता है.
