इंदौर: पॉपुलर टेलीविजन अभिनेत्री प्रेक्षा मेहता, जिन्हें 'क्राइम प्रेट्रोल', 'मेरी दुर्गा' और 'लाल इश्क' में अपने रोल के लिए जाना जाता है, रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक उन्होंने अपने घर पर आत्महत्या कर ली. अभिनेत्री 25 साल की थीं.
पुलिस के मुताबिक अभिनेत्री कुछ समय से डिप्रेशन का सामना कर रही थीं. हीरानगर पुलिस स्टेशन के इनचार्ज राजीव भदौरिया ने बताया कि परिवार वालों को मंगलवार की सुबह अभिनेत्री की लाश सीलिंग फैन से लटकी हुई मिली थी. अभिनेत्री ने एक सुसाइड नोट भी छोड़ा था जिसमें उन्होंने अपने रिलेशनशिप और करियर में नाकामी का जिक्र किया.
अभिनेत्री की मौत पर दुख जताते हुए टीवी स्टार करण कुंद्रा ने ट्वीट किया और लिखा, 'सबसे बुरा होता है सपनों का मर जाना... एक और टीवी अभिनेत्री ने आत्महत्या कर ली और ये उन्होंने आखिरी बार इंस्टाग्राम पर साझा किया #प्रेक्षामेहता यह बहुत दुखदायी है.. तुम बहुत जवान थी.. तुम्हारे सामने पूरी जिंदगी पड़ी थी.. हमें मेंटल हेल्थ के बारे में और बात करने की जरूरत है.'

अभिनेता ने आगे लिखा, 'उनका इंस्टाग्राम देखिए बहुत सामान्य सा लगता है, इसलिए इस मुश्किल समय में हमें अपने आस-पास के लोगों का ज्यादा ध्यान रखने की जरुरत है न कि सिर्फ उनके ठीक होने की कल्पना करने भर की.. छोटी की आत्मा को शांति मिले, हम तुम्हारे लिए प्रार्थना करते हैं.. यह भी गुजर जाएगा..'
