'गली बॉय' ने मेलबर्न में जीता सर्वश्रेष्ठ फिल्म का खिताब

आईएफएफएम में 'गली बॉय' को सर्वश्रेष्ठ फिल्म, रीमा दास की फिल्म 'बुलबुल कैन सिंग' को बेस्ट इंडी फिल्म, और 'अंधाधुन' के लिए श्रीराम राघवन को सर्वश्रेष्ठ निर्देशक का पुरस्कार दिया गया.

मेलबर्न: इंडियन फिल्म फेस्टिवल ऑफ मेलबर्न (आईएफएफएम) में 'गली बॉय' को सर्वश्रेष्ठ फिल्म का पुरस्कार मिला. अवॉर्ड जीतने के बाद फिल्म की निर्देशक जोया अख्तर ने कहा, "मैं बहुत ही उत्साहित हूं. मैं इस शाम को नहीं भूलने वाली हूं. एक निर्माता की क्षमता में यह मेरा पहला पुरस्कार है."

असमिया फिल्मकार रीमा दास की फिल्म 'बुलबुल कैन सिंग' को बेस्ट इंडी फिल्म का अवॉर्ड मिला जबकि सर्वश्रेष्ठ निर्देशक का पुरस्कार 'अंधाधुन' के लिए श्रीराम राघवन को मिला.श्रीराम राघवन ने कहा, "इस पुरस्कार और 'अंधाधुन' को लेकर लोगों की प्रतिक्रिया के लिए आभारी और अभिभूत हूं. एक फ्रेंच शॉर्ट फिल्म ने इस फिल्म को प्रेरित किया था."इस क्राइम थ्रिलर फिल्म के लिए तब्बू को सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेत्री का पुरस्कार दिया गया और सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेता के लिए विजय सेतुपति चुने गए, उन्हें यह पुरस्कार 'सुपर डीलक्स' के लिए मिला.

पुरस्कार लेने की बात पर तब्बू ने कहा, "ऑस्ट्रेलिया में यह मेरा पहला मौका है, लेकिन मैं इसे जिंदगीभर याद रखूंगी. मेरे लिए इसे लिखने के लिए श्रीराम आपका धन्यवाद. यह किरदार, महिलाओं के लिए जिस तरह के किरदार लिखे जा रहे हैं या जिन्हें भविष्य में लिखा जाएगा, उसमें बदलाव के लिए एक उत्प्रेरक है."

इस समारोह में करण जौहर के निर्देशन में बनने वाली पहली फिल्म 'कुछ कुछ होता है' के बीस साल के पूरे होने का जश्न भी मनाया गया.करण ने कहा, "मैं आज यहां बस 'कुछ कुछ होता है' के लिए हूं. मुझे यकीन नहीं हो रहा है कि मैं वाकई में एक फिल्मकार बन गया हूं. मेरे माता-पिता ने सोचा था कि इस फिल्म व्यवसाय के लिए मैं भावनात्मक रूप से काफी नाजुक हूं. दो शख्स जिनका मेरे ऊपर भरोसा मुझसे ज्यादा रहा वे आदित्य चोपड़ा और शाहरुख खान हैं."
