मुंबई: पूर्व विश्व चैंपियन विश्वनाथन आनंद के जीवन पर बायोपिक बनने जा रही है. मशहूर डायरेक्टर आनंद एल राय इस मूवी का निर्देशन करेंगे. फिल्म क्रिटिक तरण आदर्श ने सोशल मीडिया पर इसकी जानकारी दी है.
उन्होंने ट्वीट किया, 'विश्वनाथन आनंद पर बायोपिक. भारतीय चेस ग्रैंड मास्टर विश्वनाथन आनंद की बायोपिक बनेगी. इसका टाइटल अभी तय नहीं हुआ है. इस मूवी को आनंद एल राय डायरेक्ट करेंगे, सनडायल एंटरटेनमेंट आनंद एल राय द्वारा प्रोड्यूस की जाएगी.'

'तनु वेड्स मनु' और 'रांझणा' जैसी फिल्मों के लिए जाने वाले आनंद एल राय इस अनटाइटल्ड फिल्म का निर्देशन और सह-निर्माण करेंगे. खबरों के मुताबिक, पांच बार के विश्व चैंपियन को हाल के दिनों में कई फिल्म निर्माताओं ने बायोपिक के लिए संपर्क किया गया था, लेकिन वह आनंद एल राय के साथ अपने जीवन की कहानी साझा करने के लिए सहमत हुए.

बता दें कि विश्वनाथन की यात्रा छह साल की उम्र में शुरू हुई जब उन्होंने अपने बड़े भाई और बहन को शतरंज खेलते देखा और अपनी माँ से उन्हें खेल सिखाने के लिए कहा. शतरंज के दिग्गज ने एक बार खुलासा किया था कि उनकी पत्नी अरुणा आनंद उनकी सबसे बड़ी सपोर्ट सिस्टम हैं. 2019 में रिलीज़ की गई किताब, 'माइंड मास्टर: विनिंग लेसनस फ्रॉम ए चैंपियन' के बाद बायोपिक में विश्वनाथन आनंद के जीवन के अनजान पहलुओं को देखने को मिलेगा.
