नई दिल्ली: इस्लामाबाद के दौरे के कुछ दिन बाद सऊदी अरब के विदेश राज्य मंत्री अदेल अल जुबैर ने विदेश मंत्री सुषमा स्वराज से भेंट की. सोमवार को दोनों के बीच आतंकवाद से मुकाबले के लिए सहयोग प्रगाढ़ करने के साथ ही अन्य मुद्दों पर गहन बातचीत हुई.

विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता रवीश कुमार ने ट्वीट किया कि विदेश मंत्री सुषमा स्वराज ने भारत दौरे पर आए सऊदी अरब के विदेश राज्य मंत्री अदेल अल जुबैर से बातचीत की. सऊदी के क्राउन प्रिंस के हालिया भारत दौरे के बाद उनके दौरे के दौरान आतंकवाद से मुकाबले के लिए सहयोग सहित अन्य मुद्दों पर चर्चा हुई.

पता चला है कि पुलवामा हमले के पश्चात पाकिस्तान में आतंकवादी प्रशिक्षण शिविरों पर भारत के हमले के बाद भारत-पाकिस्तान के बीच तनाव का मुद्दा भी बैठक के दौरान उठा.

अधिकारियों ने बताया कि जुबैर ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से भी वार्ता की और द्विपक्षीय मुद्दों पर चर्चा की.

जुबैर के साथ मुलाकात में स्वराज ने सीमा पार से आतंकवाद के मुद्दे और पाकिस्तान पर अपनी सरजमीं पर आतंकी ढांचे को खत्म करने के वास्ते कदम उठाने के लिए दबाव बनाने को भी कहा .

Intro:New Delhi: Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Adel al-Jubeir, is visiting India to discuss the important follow-ups from the last month's visit of Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed Bin Salman to India. During his brief visit, he'll hold talks with External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, and a call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 










Body:The official spokesperson of MEA, Raveesh Kumar, said, "Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs will visit India on Monday and will meet the External Affairs Minister. My understanding is he is visiting to discuss some important follow-ups from the recent visit of Saudi Crown Prince. Beyond that details can be known only after the visit and meeting between the two leaders."


As he had accompanied Saudi Crown Prince during his visit to India, so this will very his second trip to the country in three weeks, while there are still ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan after the Pulwama Attack. He has also visited Islamabad in the past week. There have been speculations about his visit that Saudi Arabia is trying act as a mediator between India and Pakistan. However, it has been denied by the Ministry of External Affairs. In a statement, it has been said that there is no space for a mediator between India and Pakistan and rules out any third party's involvement in the wake of Pulwama attack and Balakot air strikes.


Conclusion:There have been a number of high-level engagements between India and Saudi Arabia in the last few weeks. Saudi even supported the OIC invitation to India, despite pleas by Pakistan. Before coming to India, Saudi Crown Prince went back to his country after his visit to Pakistan, being careful in balancing their relationship with both the countries.
