नेताजी एक्सप्रेस के नाम से जानी जाएगी कालका मेल : रेलवे

रेलवे ने हावड़ा-कालका मेल का नाम नेताजी एक्सप्रेस करने का फैसला लिया है. केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने इस संबंध में ट्वीट भी किया.

नई दिल्ली : नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस की 125वीं जयंती के मौके पर रेलवे ने बड़ा एलान किया है. रेलवे ने हावड़ा-कालका मेल का नाम अब नेताजी एक्सप्रेस करने का फैसला लिया है.

इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए रेल मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कहा कि नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस के प्राक्ट्य ने भारत को स्वतंत्रता और विकास के एक्सप्रेस मार्ग पर आगे बढ़ाया. मैं उनकी जयंती के मौके पर नेताजी एक्सप्रेस की शुरुआत से बेहद रोमांचित हूं.

उल्लेखनीय है कि पश्चिम बंगाल में चुनाव सर पर हैं और चुनाव प्रचार भी शुरुआत हो चुका है, इसलिए भारतीय जनता पार्टी और राज्य में सत्ता संभाल रही टीएमसी के बीच नेताजी की विरासत को लेकर भी लड़ाई शुरू हो गई है. ऐसे में उम्मीद की जा रही है कि सरकार इस योजना का चुनाव में पूरा फायदा उठाने की कोशिश करेगी.

इससे पहले संस्कृति मंत्रालय ने कहा था कि भारत सरकार ने नेताजी की राष्ट्र के लिए नि: स्वार्थ सेवा को सम्मानित करने और याद रखने के लिए साथ ही देश के लोगों, विशेष रूप से युवाओं को प्रेरित करने के लिए हर साल 23 जनवरी को 'पराक्रम दिवस' के रूप में मनाने का फैसला किया है.
