સિડનીઃ મહિલા વર્લ્ડકપમાં થાઇલેન્ડ અને પાકિસ્તાન વચ્ચેની મેચ સિડની સ્ટેડિયમમાં વરસાદના કારણે રદ કરાઇ હતી. થાઇલેન્ડની ટીમે પ્રથમ ઇનિગ્સમાં 150/3 રન બનાવ્યા હતા. જેના જવાબમાં પાકિસ્તાનને 151 રનનુ લક્ષ્ય આપ્યુ હતું, પરંતુ ઇનિગ્સ બ્રેક દરમિયાન વરસાદ શરુ થઇ જતા મેચને રદ કરવી પડી હતી.

નટ્ટકન ચાંટમના અણનમ 56 રનની મદદથી થાઇલેન્ડ ટીમનો સ્કોર 20 ઓવરમાં 150/3 સુધી પહોંચ્યો હતો. પ્રથમ બેંટિગ પસંદ કરનારી થાઇલેન્ડની ટીમની શરૂઆત સારી થઇ હતી. ઓપનર બેટ્સમેન નટ્ટાકન ચાંતમ અને નટ્ટયા બૂચાથમે સારી બેટિંગ કરતા 93 રનની ઓપનિંગ પાર્ટનરશીપ કરી હતી.

જો કે, 14મી ઓવરમાં પાકિસ્તાનને સફળતા મળી હતી. આનમ અમીને બૂચામેનને આઉટ કરી હતી. બૂચામેને 44 રન બનાવ્યા હતા. જ્યોરે નટ્ટાકન ચાંતમે 15 મી ઓવરમાં અડઘી સદી પુરી કરી હતી. અડધી સદી ફટકાર્યાં બાદ ચાંતમ વધુ સમય ટકી શકી નહોતી અને આખરે 16મી ઓવરમાં ડાયના બેગની ઓવરમાં કેચ આઉટ થઇ હતી. તેમણે 56 રન બનાવ્યાં હતાં, ઓપનીંગ જોડીની સારી બેટિંગની મદદથી થાઇલેન્ડની ટીમનો સ્કોર 20 ઓવરમાં 152/3 સુધી પહોંચ્યો હતો.
