ભારતીય વાયુસેનાએ ફિલ્મ 'ગુંજન સક્સેના: ધ કારગિલ ગર્લ' માં લિંગ પૂર્વગ્રહ અંગેની ખોટી રજૂઆત પર વાંધો ઉઠાવ્યો છે. આઈએએફએ પ્રોડક્શન હાઉસને ફિલ્મના વાંધાજનક ભાગ વિશે જાણ કરવામાં આવી હતી અને તેમને દૂર કરવા અથવા તેમાં ફેરફાર કરવાની સલાહ આપવામાં આવી હતી. જો કે, આવું કરવામાં આવ્યું નહોતું.

પત્રમાં એરફોર્સ વતી લખ્યું છે કે, ધર્મ પ્રોડક્શન્સ ભારતીય વાયુસેનાને પ્રામાણિકતા સાથે રજૂ કરવા સંમત થયા હતા અને એ પણ ખાતરી આપી હતી કે આ ફિલ્મ આગામી પેઢીના અધિકારીઓને પ્રેરણા આપવા માટે તમામ પ્રયત્નો કરવામાં આવશે.
