Ind vs SA ODI : દક્ષિણ આફ્રિકા સામે ભારતની કારમી હાર, શ્રેણી થઇ ટાઈ

દક્ષિણ આફ્રિકાએ ભારતને બીજી વનડેમાં હરાવીને ત્રણ મેચની શ્રેણી 1-1થી બરાબર કરી લીધી છે. મેન ઓફ ધ મેચ જોરજીએ રીઝા હેન્ડ્રીક્સ સાથે 167 બોલમાં 130 રનની ભાગીદારી કરીને જીતનો પાયો નાખ્યો હતો.

ગકબેહારા : ઓપનર ટોની ડી જોર્જીની અણનમ 119 રનની ઇનિંગ્સના બળે દક્ષિણ આફ્રિકાએ મંગળવારે અહીં બીજી વનડેમાં ભારતને 45 બોલ બાકી રહેતા નવ વિકેટથી હરાવ્યું અને ત્રણ મેચની શ્રેણી 1-1થી બરાબર કરી લીધી. મેન ઓફ ધ મેચ જોરજીએ 122 બોલની અણનમ ઇનિંગમાં નવ ચોગ્ગા અને છ છગ્ગા ફટકાર્યા હતા અને પ્રથમ વિકેટ માટે રીઝા હેન્ડ્રીક્સ (52) સાથે 167 બોલમાં 130 રનની ભાગીદારી કરીને વિજયનો પાયો નાખ્યો હતો. બીજી વિકેટ માટે રાસી વાન ડેર ડુસેન (36) સાથે 83 બોલમાં 76 રનની ભાગીદારી કર્યા બાદ તેણે સિક્સર ફટકારીને ટીમને જીત અપાવી હતી.

ડુસેને તેની 51 બોલની ઇનિંગમાં પાંચ ચોગ્ગા ફટકાર્યા હતા. પ્રથમ બેટિંગ માટે આમંત્રણ મળતાં ભારતીય ટીમ 211 રનમાં આઉટ થઈ ગઈ હતી. દક્ષિણ આફ્રિકાએ 42.3 ઓવરમાં બે વિકેટ ગુમાવીને લક્ષ્યાંક હાંસલ કરી લીધો હતો. ભારતે પ્રથમ મેચ આઠ વિકેટે જીતી હતી જ્યારે શ્રેણીનો નિર્ણાયક ગુરુવારે રમાશે. ઓપનર બી સાઈ સુદર્શન અને કેપ્ટન લોકેશ રાહુલે અડધી સદી ફટકારી હતી પરંતુ દક્ષિણ આફ્રિકાએ ભારતને 46.2 ઓવરમાં 211 રનમાં ઓલઆઉટ કરી દીધું હતું.

સુદર્શને 83 બોલમાં સાત ચોગ્ગા અને એક છગ્ગાની મદદથી 62 રન બનાવ્યા હતા જ્યારે રાહુલે 64 બોલમાં સાત ચોગ્ગાની મદદથી 56 રન બનાવ્યા હતા. બંનેએ ત્રીજી વિકેટ માટે 68 રન જોડ્યા હતા. શ્રેણીની પ્રથમ મેચમાં આઠ વિકેટે આસાન વિજય નોંધાવનાર ભારતીય ટીમના અન્ય બેટ્સમેનો દક્ષિણ આફ્રિકાના બોલરો સામે ટકી શક્યા ન હતા. દક્ષિણ આફ્રિકા તરફથી આન્દ્રે બર્જરે ત્રણ જ્યારે બ્યુરેન હેન્ડ્રીક્સ અને કેશવ મહારાજે બે-બે વિકેટ ઝડપી હતી.
