Bulandshahr: A tuition teacher allegedly sexually harassed an 8-year-old boy in Uttar Pradesh by intoxicating him with heavy doses of medicine.
The condition of the boy who lives in Yamunapuram in Bulandshahr started deteriorating before his mother filed a complaint with the police.
For the past one year, she has been meeting district officers to get justice for his son, reports said.
The boy's mother approached child right activists and the Child Rights Protection Commission has taken cognizance of the case.
Uttar Pradesh Child Protection Commission member Preeti Verma said that the matter should be investigated seriously and she had obtained complete information about the incident by meeting the victim's family.
The child commission member, while understanding the pain of the victim's mother, praised her courage and passion.
Preeti Verma also directed authorities to take appropriate action and the whole matter should be investigated in detail at the earliest and strict action should be taken against the accused.
