Pratapgarh (Rajasthan): Rajasthan's Pratapgarh MLA Ramlal Meena has received death threats over a message on Sunday night. Meena also alleged that BJP leader Prahallad Gurjar threatened on Facebook to shoot him.
According to the reports, the death threat was sent via a Facebook comment. The message stated "if MLA will disturb others then I will shoot him and threatened him to death" via message.
The state Congress workers immediately took cognizance of the situation and submitted a memorandum against the Facebook post with Pratapgarh police station.
Congress workers reached the Collectorate and raised slogans and demanded action against the theatres. Meanwhile, Congress workers said that BJP leader Gurjar has threatened the MLA by creating a fake ID.
However, BJP leader Prahallad Gurjar refuted this allegation and said," This post is not mine. I do not have any fake ID and did not threaten to shoot the Congress MLA. This is a conspiracy to discredit me. Everything will be revealed after the investigation."
Police have suo motu registered a case, saying the post was suspected to have used a fake name.
