Jodhpur: A 12-year-old girl has delivered a boy in Umaid Hospital on Monday. According to the police, the Class six student was raped by a 30-year-old man nine months ago.
The police have detained the accused and action would be taken against him under the POCSO Act.
The accused lives in her neighbourhood and he committed the heinous crime on the pretext of showing her mobile phone.
As the minor's health deteriorated, she was taken to a local hospital where she was further referred to the Hope Hospital.
The girl narrated the incident to her family and they reported the incident to the police.
