Katni: This teacher of MP holds a record for 'Kanya Pujan'

A school teacher in MP's Katni has been worshipping little girls at his school for the last 41 years. He also has a record registered in his name in the India Book of Records. His idea behind Kanya Pujan is spreading the message of respect, love and compassion to women.

Katni(MP): A government school teacher here has been performing 'Kanya Pujan' every day for the last 41 years, for which his name has been registered in the Indian Book of Records.

Raja Bhaiya Soni is a teacher at Luharwara Government Primary School and Kanya Pujan has been a part of his routine for all these years.

This teacher of MP holds a record for Kanya Pujan

His idea is to spread the message of 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' among people.

It has been a ritual for him to wash the girls' feet with 'Gangajal' and serv them sweets early in the morning.

Kanya Pujan is a Hindu ritual in which nine girls, said to represent the nine forms of Goddess Durga, are worshipped. They are offered delicacies and gifts too.

Raja Bhaiya Soni believes that every woman in the world should be revered because they are the ones from whom everyone is created. The villagers hold him with high regard for all the efforts he does make for the little girls.

So far, he has performed Kanya Pujan for more than 7,000 girls in his school.

The record registered in his name is for his contribution to 'women power'.

A year ago, Soni had applied to register his name in the India Book of Records.

Acting on his application, the team of the record book reached Luharwara village and registered his name in the book after collecting information from the villagers.

Raja Bhaiya is an inspiration for everyone. He has succeeded in delivering a message of respect, love and compassion for women to everyone around him.

Teacher performs Kanya Pujan every day in school, Recognized by India Book of Records

Katni: In a bizarre but wholesome occurrence, Raja Bhaiya, a teacher of Luharwara Government Primary School in Katni holds 'Kanya Pujan' every day in his school to strengthen the message of 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao'. The teacher starts his day with the ritual of washing the feet of girl students with 'gangajal' and feeding them sweets on a daily basis.

'Kanya Pujan' is a ritual in which people usually worship nine young girls representing the nine forms of Goddess Durga. They are offered delicacies and given gifts in cash or kind.

Raja Bhaiya Soni has been performing 'Kanya pujan' for 41 years without fail. He is of the opinion that every woman around the world is revered because they have contributed to our creation. Villagers and the students respect him for his deed.

Raja Bhaiya Soni has worshipped more than 7000 girls in the school so far. His name has been recorded in the India Book of Records for women power. A year ago, Soni had applied to register his name in the India Book of Records. Acting on his application, the team of India Book of Records reached Luharwara village and registered his name in the book after collecting some information from the villagers.

The commendable initiative of teacher Raja Bhaiya is an inspiration to people and delivers a message that women should be treated with love and respect.

छात्राओं का हर रोज कन्या पूजन करते हैं ये शिक्षक, इंडिया बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड में दर्ज हो चुका नाम    

कटनी। स्कूल में कन्या पूजन, सुनने में अजीब जरूर लगता है, लेकिन कटनी के लुहरवारा शासकीय प्राथमिक शाला के एक शिक्षक राजा भैया सोनी समाज में छात्राओं को आगे बढ़ाने और 'बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ की अलख' जगाने के लिए स्कूल में हर रोज कन्या पूजन करते हैं. पूजन में वे कन्याओं के पैर गंगाजल से धोकर पैरों में पुष्प अर्पित करते हैं, फिर कन्याओं का मुंह मीठा कराकर उन्हें स्कूल के अंदर ले जाते हैं.  

बेटियां इस देश की ही नहीं बल्कि दुनिया की सबसे अनमोल धरोहर हैं, इस बात को शिक्षक राजा भैया सोनी ने बखूबी समझा. इसीलिए वे पिछले 41 साल से बेटियों की पूजा करते आ रहे हैं. शिक्षक के इस काम के लिए स्कूल की छात्राएं और ग्रामीण भी इनका सम्मान करते हैं.

शिक्षक राजा भैया सोनी अपने स्वभाव से बच्चियों का सम्मान करते हैं. वह कहते हैं कि दुनिया भर की महिलाएं पूज्य हैं क्योंकि हमारी सृष्टि को यहां तक पहुंचाने में इनका ही योगदान है. छात्र-छात्राएं भी अपने शिक्षक राजा भैया सोनी के इस काम की तारीफ करते हैं.

राजा भैया सोनी अभी तक स्कूल में करीब 7000 से अधिक कन्याओं का पूजन कर चुके हैं. यही वजह है कि नारी शक्ति के इस सम्मान के लिए उनका नाम इंडिया बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड में दर्ज हुआ. सोनी ने इंडिया बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड में अपना नाम दर्ज कराने के लिए एक साल पहले आवेदन किया था, जिस पर इंडिया बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड के लोग लुहरवारा गांव पहुंचे और जानकारी इकट्ठा करने के बाद शिक्षक का नाम बुक में दर्ज किया गया.

शिक्षक राजा भैया के इस सराहनीय काम से लोगों को भी प्रेरणा मिलती है कि हमें भी महिलाओं का सम्मान करना चाहिए. ईटीवी भारत मध्य प्रदेश
