IB receives terrorist infiltration input; heavy security deployed at MP-Gujarat border

The Intelligence Bureau has received specific inputs of a possible terrorist infiltration in Madhya Pradesh and consequently, heavy security has been deployed at the Khangela check-post connecting Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh along with other border areas shared between the two states. The state police have, in the meantime, released a sketch of the alleged terrorist.

Bhopal: Heavy security has been deployed at the Khangela check post connecting Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh along with other border areas shared between the two states after specific inputs received by the Intelligence Bureau of a possible terrorist infiltration in Madhya Pradesh.

State police personnel have put up barricades and checkpoints at crucial junctions in the state and is also monitoring and checking vehicles, particularly those coming from Jhabua in MP and Gujarat.

Meanwhile, the police have released a sketch of the alleged terrorist and the Superintendents of Police of all districts have been asked to remain vigilant.
