Bangalore: Pro Kannada organization activists here have set former AIADMK leader V K Sasikala's banners on fire at Devanahalli.
The banners were put up in Devanahalli as she was residing at the Golf Shire Resort in Devanahalli.
After her release from the jail, Sasikala has been residing at this resort while the political calculations are being drawn in Tamil Nadu. She is leaving for Chennai on Monday while her supporters rushing to welcome her at the state border.
Irked by the huge banners put up by her supporters, a Pro Kannada organization activists belonging to Praveen Shetty burned the banners put up around the resort.
The activists made it clear that they are against her stay at the resort but if the supporters want to celebrate they have to do it in Tamil Nadu.

She was officially released from judicial custody on January 27 after completing her four-year prison sentence in the disproportionate assets case. She was, however, has to stay further after she contracted COVID19 and was undergoing treatment in Bengaluru.
In 2019, the Income Tax Department had attached properties worth Rs 1,600 crores belonging to the former AIADMK leader under the provisions of the Benami Transactions (Prohibition) Act.
