Lady police officer lends helping hand to corona infected family in Karnataka

A lady Police Sub-Inspector came to the rescue of a corona infected poor family which was ostracised by the villagers at Farathabad village in Karnataka's Kalaburagi district. The lady officer helped the suffering family by providing them with basic essentials like water and groceries.

Kalaburagi: Amid growing concerns over the spread of the novel coronavirus, the infected family at some parts of the country are also being forced to grapple with ostracisation by their neighbours and local shopkeepers.

A similar incident came into the light at Farathabad village in Karnataka's Kalaburagi district where villagers even refused to provide water to a corona infected poor family.

On getting this information, a lady Police Sub-Inspector lent a helping hand to the suffering family by providing them with basic essentials like water and groceries.

Yashoda Katake, posted at Farathabad Police Station, supplied water from the police station to the family and asked them not to be scared of anything.

"Don't be scared of anything. Take care of children well, eat properly and contact me again if you need anything," said Katake to the poor family.
