Mumbai: Actor Rhea Chakraborty has recently confessed that she was Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend and urged home minister Amit Shah for a CBI probe in the late actor's death case.
She took to Instagram to share a snap of Sushant and wrote, "Respected @amitshahofficial sir, I'm Sushant Singh Rajputs girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, it is now over a month since his sudden demise. I have complete faith in the government, however, in the interest of justice, I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry into this matter. I only want to understand what pressures prompted Sushant to take this step. Yours sincerely, Rhea Chakraborty."

Earlier today, Rhea had exposed the hatred she faced on social media after the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput.
The Jalebi actor had exposed the troll who had threatened her with rape and murder. "Do you realize the seriousness of what you have said? These are crimes, and by law no one, I repeat NO ONE should be subjected to this kind of toxicity and harassment," shared Rhea.
In the wake of the actor's suicide, a massive online campaign fuelled by conspiracy theories has been demanding a CBI investigation into the matter. Several notable Bollywood personalities, accused in the court of public opinion for allegedly ostracising Sushant, have also been targeted.
Earlier on June 15, Member of the parliament Subramanian Swamy has also supported the demand for a CBI probe into Sushant's suicide case. He had shared on Twitter that he has instructed Ishkaran Singh Bhandari, lawyer and political analyst, to look into the matter in-depth and find out if the case is fit for a CBI investigation.
"I have asked Ishkaran to look into facts of Sushant Singh Rajput death case & see whether it's a fit Case for CBI investigation. Then accordingly to see justice is done. For Updates follow @ishkarnBHANDARI (sic)," read his tweet.
The late actor's several friends and family members, including Rhea, Sanjana Sanghi, Shekhar Kapur, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, among others were questioned in the case.
