Kangana 'never thought about politics' even after receiving offers from Congress, BJP

In a recent tweet, Kangana Ranaut revealed that she has never thought of joining politics as she has always been obsessed with her work as an artist. The Panga actor even stated that both BJP and Congress, in the past, had offered her tickets for election.

Mumbai: It seems like Kangana Ranaut is happy in her zone in Bollywood and is not interested in politics right now.

The actor on Saturday took to Twitter and issued a statement saying she has "never thought about (joining) politics."

The Judgementall Hai Kya star further added that as an artist she is obsessed with her work and is certainly not showing interest in making her foray into politics.

In a subsequent tweet, Kangana stated that all the trolling for her political preferences should be stopped as she is an "independent thinker."

The post on her official Twitter handle read: "This is to set the records straight for everyone who thinks I support Modi ji because I want to join politics, my grandfather has been congress MLA for consecutive 15 years, my family is so popular in politics back home that after Gangster almost every year I got offers from Congress."

The actor has been quite vocal about her thoughts and beliefs on social media.
