Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Cyber Crime sleuths on Friday have arrested a Cyber fraudster for allegedly cheating a man for providing the exact value of the stock exchange.
The fraudster named as Rahul Kumar, a resident of Hyderabad, termed himself as a director of an angel company, National Stock Research, Bangalore.
The incident came into light after a complaint registered by Sravan Chittireddy, resident of Bharat Nagar, Hyderabad.
In his complaint, Sarvan said, " I received a phone call from the employees of the National Stock Research company to provide good returns from the Stock exchange within 28 trading days.
They also assured me if the company failed to provide a good return then I have an option to claim the security bonds that will be issued by the angel company."
He further added that the company requested him to send the amount in a Paytm account given by them in Whatsapp.
"I transferred an amount of Rs. 1,81,116 through Paytm of the said National stock research company and waited positively by 16th of July", added Sarvan.
According to the police officials, the accused revealed that at first, they analyse the people and according to their capability, they urged to transfer the amount to a Paytm account.
A complaint has been registered in the case and further probe is underway, added police.
