Hyderabad: Rachakonda Cyber Crime sleuths arrest fraudster

Cybercrime Bureau has arrested a fraudster for allegedly cheating a man for providing a good return value of the stock exchange. A Hyderabad man had transferred an amount of Rs 1,81,116 to the said Paytm account given by the fraudster.

Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Cyber Crime sleuths on Friday have arrested a Cyber fraudster for allegedly cheating a man for providing the exact value of the stock exchange.

The fraudster named as Rahul Kumar, a resident of Hyderabad, termed himself as a director of an angel company, National Stock Research, Bangalore.

The incident came into light after a complaint registered by Sravan Chittireddy, resident of Bharat Nagar, Hyderabad.

In his complaint, Sarvan said, " I received a phone call from the employees of the National Stock Research company to provide good returns from the Stock exchange within 28 trading days.

They also assured me if the company failed to provide a good return then I have an option to claim the security bonds that will be issued by the angel company."

He further added that the company requested him to send the amount in a Paytm account given by them in Whatsapp.

"I transferred an amount of Rs. 1,81,116 through Paytm of the said National stock research company and waited positively by 16th of July", added Sarvan.

According to the police officials, the accused revealed that at first, they analyse the people and according to their capability, they urged to transfer the amount to a Paytm account.

A complaint has been registered in the case and further probe is underway, added police.

The Rachakonda Cyber Crime sleuths have arrested the Cyber offender by names Rahul Kumar S/o Ramesh Kumar, Director National Stock Research office at Bangalore. Police received a complaint from Sravan Chittireddy R/o Bharath Nagar, Uppal, Hyderabad; in which he stated that, he received Phone calls and emails in the month of July 2019. Sravan received phone calls from the employees of national stock research company, Bangalore, their company have stock trading analysis team and they have contacts with National stock exchange. It is not only a Advisory company, they will also give stock accurate calls for Buy and sell stocks to get good returns in 28 trading days, that means with in one month and asked him to transfer money to their NSR company through the requested Paytm and Cash free links which they will send to his Whatsaap to pay amount. For that they will give 5 to 11 times profit on his investments and also they issue security bonds from their NSR company. If in case they not provide accurate stock calls as they promised him, in that case he can claim the security bonds. They further told that National stock research Company is in tie-up with Angel broking company and will open trade account with his Details and will add his investment funds to his angel broking trade account to trade the stock. On trusting their words From 02-7-2019 to 08-07-2019 the complainant transferred total Rs. 1,81,116/- Through Paytm and cashfree links to the bank accounts of National stock research. After payment done he waited till July 16th 2019. But he don’t see any progress positively from their side. On that The complainant made phone calls and sent emails several times to them about his invested amount profits but they have not responded to his efforts. When he realized that he was cheated by the above said fraudsters.

The complainant Sravan Chittireddy of this case also received phone calls and mails from the accused on 02-7-2019 on which he transferred an amount of Rs. 1,81,116/- through Paytm and cashfree links to the bank accounts of the said National stock research company. After payment done the complainant waited till July 16th 2019, but he didn’t see any positive progress from their side.
