"Papa used to say that if you are truthful and are walking on the path of truth, then even if you have to walk alone, no matter what, the convoy will grow one by one. My father had always said that people know him for his work and dedication. I'm inspired by his work and struggle is the only way to move forward," Chirag added, saying that his father's blessings would always be with him and his family.

Meanwhile, Chirag Paswan will today begin the 'aashirvaad yatra' to mark the birth anniversary of Ram Vilas Paswan from Hajipur in Bihar, and has left for the state from Delhi. LJP got about 25 lakh votes during the Bihar assembly elections and in a bid to thank the voters for having reposed their faith in him, Chirag decided to take out the yatra.

It is known that five party MPs, including Chirag's uncle and MP Pashupati Paras had initiated a revolt. This led to Paras replacing Chirag as the party leader in the Lok Sabha. After this, Chirag had expelled the rebel MPs from the party and called a meeting of the National Executive of LJP, in which 95% of the members were present. At present, the LJP is divided into two camps and the issue is still pending with the Election Commission.
