Lucknow: An alleged negligence on the part of the Trauma Centre of KGMU Hospital in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow has taken the life of a 35-year-old woman.
The deceased patient, Munni, who was admitted to the emergency ward of the hospital after she was having difficulty while breathing. After the required check-ups, she was transferred to the medical ward without the support of oxygen which eventually resulted in her death.
When the patient reached the medical department, the junior doctors there tried to revive her by giving a CPR, but it was too late.
The woman was undergoing treatment at KGMU's cardiology department for almost 2 months.
According to the hospital spokesman, Dr Sandeep Tiwari, the authorities have been informed about the matter. He has assured that proper action will be taken against the person responsible for the negligence.
