Jaipur: A cabinet meeting held in Jaipur on Tuesday to review Coronavirus situation in the city and after the meeting, it was announced that tourism units in the state will get an exemption for one year and several important decisions were taken.
After attending the cabinet meeting, Cabinet Minister Dr Raghu Sharma said, " in the cabinet meeting it was discussed that how we can control the spread of Corona collectively in the state and how the number of positive cases increased in the last few days."
"Discussions held on how to improve the percentage of recovery and how to reduce mortality. There are 8 districts in the state where there are more positive cases." He further said.
He confirmed that in these districts, teams of officers, additional teams and officers of the Medical Department have been sent.
Raghu Sharma said that from 12000 tests to 27000 tests is being been conducted daily in the state. When testing is high, will get more positive cases in time.
Rajasthan has a higher recovery rate and death rate compared to the positive cases in the whole of India, the death rate is 1.87 in the state which is the lowest compared to the 10 big states.
