Leh (Ladakh): An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 on the Richter Scale jolted Ladakh's Kargil on Sunday.
As per the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the tremors were felt at around 433 km north-northwest of Kargil at 3.37 am.
No loss of life or property has been reported so far.

Earlier on July 2, an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 on the Richter scale struck 119 km north-northwest of Kargil in Ladakh.
Another earthquake of magnitude 4.5 also hit Ladakh at a depth of 25 kilometres on June 27.
It is to be noted that the Himalayan region is highly prone to earthquakes.
