Covid-19: Telangana CM KCR likely to extend lockdown till May 7

In view of the rising coronavirus cases in Telangana, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to extend lockdown in the state till May 7. In the proposed set of guidelines, KCR may impose a ban on the online and door to door delivery of food items.

Hyderabad (Telangana): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to extend lockdown in the state till May 7. The decision will be made official after the completion of the meeting with the cabinet.

The incubation period for the existing containment zones would be completed for May 7 and any new subsequent zone will be taken as a one-off unit for the purpose of containment.

In the proposed set of guidelines, KCR has decided to impose a ban on the online and door to door delivery of food items and parcel in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

According to the proposed guidelines, the landlord and homeowner may defer collecting rents from the tenants for a period of three months w.e.f from March 2020 only for rented premises for residential purposes in view of the hardship.
