Landslides Leave Behind A Trail of Death And Destruction in Kerala's Wayanad

Landslides in southern India killed at least 49 people on Tuesday, July 30, officials confirmed. As many as hundreds more were believed trapped, the army said. Both the central and state authorities have launched massive search and rescue operations. The Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) has said that Fireforce and NDRF teams have been deployed to the affected area, with an additional NDRF team en route to Wayanad.
