Satpal Rai from Darjeeling died in chopper crash : কপ্টার দুর্ঘটনায় মৃতদের মধ্যে দার্জিলিংয়ের সৎপাল রাই

দুর্ঘটনাগ্রস্ত ওই হেলিকপ্টারে সওয়ার ছিলেন ভারতের তিন সামরিক বাহিনীর প্রধান বিপিন রাওয়াত ৷ বিপিন রাওয়াত-সহ দুর্ঘটনায় মৃত্যু হয়েছে 13 জনের। যাঁদের মধ্যে ছিলেন দার্জিলিংয়ের তাকদহের গ্লেনবার্নের বাসিন্দা সৎপাল রাই (Satpal Rai from Darjeeling died in military chopper crash in Connoor)।

দার্জিলিং, 8 ডিসেম্বর : তামিলনাড়ুর কুন্নুরের কাছে দুর্গম পাহাড়ি এলাকায় বুধবার ভেঙে পড়ে বায়ুসেনার হেলিকপ্টার। দুর্ঘটনাগ্রস্ত ওই হেলিকপ্টারে সওয়ার ছিলেন ভারতের তিন সামরিক বাহিনীর প্রধান বিপিন রাওয়াত ৷ বিপিন রাওয়াত-সহ দুর্ঘনায় মৃত্যু হয়েছে 13 জনের। যাঁদের মধ্যে ছিলেন দার্জিলিংয়ের তাকদহের গ্লেনবার্নের বাসিন্দা সৎপাল রাই (Satpal Rai from Darjeeling died in military chopper crash in Connoor)।

বিপিন রাওয়াতের নিরাপত্তারক্ষী এবং গোর্খা রাইফেলসে হাবিলদার পদে কর্মরত ছিলেন সৎপাল রাই । ইতিমধ্যে সেনাবাহিনীর তরফে রাজ্য সরকারকে বিষয়টি জানানো হয়েছে ৷ পাশাপাশি এদিন রাতে ওই দুর্ঘটনায় সামরিক বাহিনীর প্রধান বিপিন রাওয়াত-সহ অন্যান্যদের মৃত্যুতে মোমবাতি জ্বালিয়ে শিলিগুড়ির হাসমিচকে শ্রদ্ধা জানান শহরবাসী ৷ শ্রদ্ধা জানিয়েছেন সাংসদ রাজু বিস্তা এবং রাজ্য বিজেপির সাধারণ সম্পাদক অমিতাভ চক্রবর্তী ৷ টুইটে সৎপালের পরিবারকে সমবেদনা জানিয়েছেন তাঁরা ৷
