ক্রীড়া ব্যক্তিত্বদের সমারোহে বেঙ্গালুরুতে সংবর্ধিত লিয়েন্ডার

সংবর্ধিত হলেন লিয়েন্ডার পেজ় ৷ রবিবার বেঙ্গালুরু ওপেনের শেষদিন সংবর্ধনা দেওয়া হল তাঁকে ৷ উপস্থিত ছিলেন ভারতীয় ক্রীড়া জগতের নক্ষত্ররা ৷

বেঙ্গালুরু, 16 ফেব্রুয়ারি : খুব তাড়াতাড়ি 30 বছরের টেনিস কেরিয়ারকে বিদায় জানাবেন ৷ তার আগে দেশের মাটিতে শেষবারের মতো পেশাদার টেনিস খেলে ফেলেছেন লিয়েন্ডার পেজ় ৷ রবিবার বেঙ্গালুরু ওপেনের শেষদিন দেশের এই টেনিস কিংবদন্তিকে সংবর্ধনা জানানো হল ৷ রবিবার বেঙ্গালুরুর KSLTA স্টেডিয়ামে প্রাক্তন অলিম্পিয়ান এবং ক্রীড়া ব্যক্তিত্বদের হাতে সংবর্ধিত হলেন পেজ় ৷

যদিও শনিবার অস্ট্রেলিয়ান জুটি ইবডেনের সঙ্গে ছেলেদের ডাবলস ম্যাচে হেরে গেছেন পেজ় ৷ তাঁদের প্রতিপক্ষ ছিল পূরব রাজা এবং রামকুমার রামানাথন ৷ রবিবার সিঙ্গলস ফাইনালের আগে 46 বছরের এই টেনিস ব্যক্তিত্বকে আড়ম্বরের সঙ্গে সংবর্ধনা দেওয়া হয় ৷ সংবর্ধনা মঞ্চে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ভারতীয় ক্রীড়া জগতের নক্ষত্ররা ৷ ডেভিস কাপার প্রহ্লাদ শ্রীনাথ, ট্র্যাক অ্যান্ড ফিল্ড অ্যাথলিট অশ্বিনী নাচাপ্পা, প্রাক্তন হকি খেলোয়াড় জুড ফেলিক্স সহ উপস্থিত ক্রীড়াজগতের তারকারা পেজ়ের সঙ্গে তাঁদের অভিজ্ঞতা দর্শকদের ভাগ করে নেন ৷
