PM Modi-UN Chief Guterres: গুজরাতে মিশন লাইফের সূচনা, প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদির সঙ্গে রাষ্ট্রসংঘের প্রধান গুতেরেস

রাষ্ট্রসংঘের মহাসচিব আন্তোনিও গুতেরেস বুধবার ভারতে এসেছেন ৷ গতকাল সকালে তিনি মুম্বইয়ের তাজ হোটেলে যান ৷ সেখানে 2008 সালের 26 নভেম্বর জঙ্গি হামলায় মৃতদের স্মৃতিতে শ্রদ্ধা জানান তিনি ৷ আজ গুজরাতে প্রধানমন্ত্রীর সঙ্গে দেখা হল গুতেরেসের (UN Chief Antonio Guterres meets PM Narendra Modi) ৷

কেভারিয়া, 20 অক্টোবর: আজ 'মিশন লাইফ'-এর উদ্বোধন করলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি ৷ এই বিশেষ মুহূর্তে তাঁর সঙ্গে ছিলেন রাষ্ট্রসংঘের প্রধান আন্তোনিও গুতেরেস ৷ তিন দিনের সফরে বুধবার তিনি ভারতে এসেছেন ৷ আজ গুতেরেস গুজরাতে যান ৷ প্রধানমন্ত্রীও দু'দিনের সফরে গুজরাতে গিয়েছেন ৷

মিশন লাইফের উদ্বোধনের পর বিদেশ মন্ত্রকের মুখপাত্র এ নিয়ে একটি টুইট করেন । তাতে লেখা ছিল "প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদি রাষ্ট্রসংঘের মহাসচিব কেভারিয়ায় আন্তোনিও গুতেরেসের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করেন ৷ পরিবেশের জন্য লাইফস্টাইল, জীবন সকলের জন্য ! আজ প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি কেভারিয়ার স্ট্যাচু অফ ইউনিটিতে মিশন লাইফ (Mission LiFE) চালু করেন ৷ তাঁর সঙ্গে যোগ দেন আন্তোনিও গুতেরেস ৷ "

দুনিয়াজুড়ে আবহাওয়া ক্রমশ বদলে যাচ্ছে ৷ এর প্রভাবে নাজেহাল বিশ্ববাসী ৷ এ থেকে রক্ষা পেতে ও এই গ্রহকে বাঁচানোর উদ্দেশ্যে আন্তর্জাতিক পরিকল্পনায় মিশন লাইফের সূচনা হল আজ ৷ আগামী মাসে ইজিপ্টে রাষ্ট্রসংঘের আবহাওয়া পরিবর্তন (UN climate meet in Egypt) নিয়ে সম্মেলন রয়েছে ৷

বদলাতে থাকা জীবনযাপনে পরিবেশবান্ধব বেশ কিছু পদক্ষেপ রয়েছে এই মিশন লাইফে ৷ এর লোগো এবং ট্যাগলাইনেও তা স্পষ্ট- (Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) সেখানে বলা হয়েছে, পরিবেশের জন্য জীবনযাপন ৷ বৃহস্পতিবার গুজরাতের কেভারিয়ায় এটি প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদি এবং গুতেরেস যৌথভাবে চালু করলেন ৷
