সুদানে বিস্ফোরণে মৃত কমপক্ষে 18 ভারতীয় : ভারতীয় দূতাবাস

সুদানে LPG ট্যাঙ্কার বিস্ফোরণে যে 23 জন মারা গিয়েছেন তাদের মধ্য 18 জন ভারতীয় । জানা যাচ্ছে এই দুর্ঘটনায় কমপক্ষে 130 জন আহত হয়েছেন ।

খারতুম (সুদান), 4 ডিসেম্বর :সুদানে LPG ট্যাঙ্কার বিস্ফোরণে যে 23 জন প্রাণ হারিয়েছেন তাঁদের মধ্যে রয়েছেন 18 জন ভারতীয় । ভারতীয় দূতাবাসের তরফে এই খবর জানানো হয়েছে ৷ জানা যাচ্ছে, এই দুর্ঘটনায় কমপক্ষে 130 জন আহত হয়েছেন । 18 জনের মৃত্যুর খবর সামনে আসার আগে জানা যায়, 16 জন ভারতীয় নিখোঁজ হয়েছেন । তবে ভারতীয় দূতাবাস এও জানিয়েছে, 18 জনের মৃত্যুর খবর পাওয়া গেলেও সরকারিভাবে তা ঘোষণা করা হয়নি ৷

ঘটনার এক প্রত্যক্ষদর্শী জানান, উত্তর খারতুমে বাহরি এলাকায় সিলা সেরামিক কারখানায় আগুনটি লাগার সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই আকাশ কালো ধোঁয়ায় ভরে যায় । পাশের এক কারখানার কর্মী সংবাদসংস্থাকে জানান, "খুব জোরে বিস্ফোরণ হয়েছিল । কারখানার পাশে দাড়িয়ে থাকা কয়েকটি গাড়িতেও আগুন লেগে যায় । "

খারতুমের ভারতীয় দূতাবাসের তরফে জানানো হয়েছে, ওই কারখানায় 50 জনেরও বেশি ভারতীয় কর্মরত ছিলেন । ঘটনার পর থেকে 16 জন ভারতীয়র কোনও খোঁজ পাওয়া যাচ্ছিল না । শেষ পাওয়া খবর অনুযায়ী, 18 জন ভারতীয়র মৃত্যু হয়েছে ৷ তবে ঠিক কতজন প্রাণ হারিয়েছেন তা সরকারিভাবে এখনও ঘোষণা করা হয়নি । ভারতীয় দূতাবাসের তরফে কতজন ভারতীয় হাসপাতালে ভরতি, কতজন নিখোঁজ বা কতজন প্রাণে রক্ষা পেয়েছেন, আজ তার একটি বিস্তারিত তালিকা প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে । মৃতের সংখ্যা আরও বাড়তে পারে বলেও আশঙ্কা করা হচ্ছে । দূতাবাসের থেকে জানানো হয়েছে আগুনে পুড়ে যাওয়ার কারণে দেহগুলি শনাক্ত করতে সমস্যা হচ্ছে ।

দিল্লির এক আধিকারিক সূত্রে জানানো হয়েছে, ওই কারখানায় 68 জন ভারতীয় কাজ করতেন । বিদেশমন্ত্রী এস জয়শংকর জানিয়েছেন সুদানে ভারতীয় দূতাবাসের প্রতিনিধিরা দুর্ঘটনার জন্য বিশেষ হটলাইন চালু করেছে । টুইটারে এই ঘটনা নিয়ে শোক প্রকাশও করেন তিনি । দূতাবাস থেকে পাওয়া তথ্য অনুসারে দুর্ঘটনায় জখম 7 জন ভারতীয় হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন । তাদের মধ্যে চার জনের অবস্থা আশঙ্কাজনক বলে জানানো হয়েছে । দুর্ঘটনায় শোকপ্রকাশ করে টুইট করেছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি । টুুইটারে দুর্ঘটনাগ্রস্তদের পরিবারের প্রতি সমবেদনা জ্ঞাপন করেছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ও ।

সুদানের সরকারি সূত্রে জানানো হয়েছে, LPG ট্যাঙ্কার বিস্ফোরণে যে 23 জন প্রাণ হারিয়েছেন । জখম হয়েছেন 130 জনেরও বেশি । কারখানায় পর্যাপ্ত সুরক্ষা ব্যবস্থা ছিল না । পাশাপাশি যত্র তত্র দাহ্য বস্তু কারখানায় মজুত ছিল । এই কারণেই দুর্ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে বলে জানানো হয় সুদানের সরকারের তরফে । ঘটনার পূর্ণাঙ্গ তদন্ত শুরু করা হয়েছে ।
