इस गोल्ड के साथ ही भारत की झोली में कुल मिलाकर 5 गोल्ड मेडल आ गए हैं. पहला गोल्ड भारत ने 10 मीटर शूटिंग प्रतिस्पर्धा में जीता था, उसके बाद भारत ने दूसरा गोल्ड महिला क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता में जीता. तीसरा गोल्ड भारत ने मंगलवार को घुड़सवारी प्रतियोगिता में जीता, आज भारत ने दो स्वर्ण पदक जीते हैं. आज का पहला और कुल मिलाकर चौथा गोल्ड भारत ने 25 मीटर की पिस्टल स्पर्धा में जीता है, पांचवा गोल्ड मेडल आज 50 मीटर राइफल 3पी शूटिंग में जीता जीता. एशियाई खेलों में अब तक कुल 5 स्वर्ण पदक भारत की झोली में आ गए है.
