Hockey World Cup 2023 के पूल सी में नीदरलैंड ने मलेशिया को और न्यूजीलैंड ने चिली को हराया. वहीं पूल बी में जर्मनी ने जापान को और बेल्जियम ने दक्षिण कोरिया को शिकस्त दी.

राउरकेला : तीन बार की चैंपियन नीदरलैंड ने एफआईएच पुरूष हॉकी विश्व कप 2023 में अपने अभियान का जीत के साथ आगाज करते हुए शनिवार को मलेशिया को 3-0 से हराया जबकि न्यूजीलैंड ने चिली पर 3-1 से जीत दर्ज की.

पूल सी के पहले मैच में न्यूजीलैंड के लिए सैम हिहा ने पहले दो क्वार्टर में दो फील्ड गोल (11वां और 18वां मिनट ) दागे जबकि सैम लेन ने नौवें मिनट में पहला गोल किया था. चिली के लिए एकमात्र गोल इग्नासियो कोंटार्डो ने 49वें मिनट में किया.

वहीं पूल बी में जर्मनी ने भी जीत के साथ धमाकेदार शुरुआत की. जर्मनी ने जापान को 3-0 के बड़े अंतर से हराया. पहले हाफ में दोनों टीमों का स्कोर 0-0 से बराबरी पर था, लेकिन दूसरे हाफ में जर्मन टीम लय में आई और एक के बाद एक तीन गोल कर बेहतरीन जीत दर्ज की.
