नई दिल्ली : भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) ने आईसीसी पुरुष क्रिकेट विश्व कप 2023 के लिए टिकटों की बढ़ती हुई मांग को देखते हुए इस बहुप्रतीक्षित टूर्नामेंट के लिए अगले चरण की सेल में लगभग 4 लाख टिकट जारी करने की घोषणा की है.

बीसीसीआई द्वारा राज्य संघों की मेजबानी पर चर्चा के बाद, वो टूर्नामेंट के लिए लगभग 4 लाख सामान्य टिकट उपलब्ध कराए जाने की तैयारी है. सामान्य बिक्री का उद्देश्य क्रिकेट के इस महत्वपूर्ण आयोजन में अधिक से अधिक उत्साही क्रिकेट प्रशंसकों की भागीदारी को समायोजित करना है. प्रशंसकों को तय समय में टिकट बिक्री के आगे के चरणों के बारे में भी सूचनाएं प्राप्त होंगी.

आईसीसी पुरुष क्रिकेट विश्व कप 5 अक्टूबर को इंग्लैंड और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच 2019 फाइनल के रीमैच के साथ शुरू होगा. मेजबान भारत अपने अभियान की शुरुआत 8 अक्टूबर को चेन्नई में पांच बार के विश्व चैंपियन ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ करेगा. इसके लगभग एक हफ्ते बाद, टीम इंडिया 14 अक्टूबर को अहमदाबाद में चिर प्रतिद्वंद्वी पाकिस्तान से भिड़ेगी.
