मुंबईः 'रईस' फेम बॉलीवुड एक्ट्रेस माहिरा खान #मीटू मूवमेंट और पिछले साल उसमें बढ़ोतरी को लेकर अपने विचार पेश किए, अभिनेत्री ने मीटू मूवमेंट को लेकर बीच का रास्ता अपनाया है जिसमें बहुत से बड़े-बड़े नाम सामने आए थे.
पाकिस्तानी अभिनेत्री ने सोशल मीडिया पर अपना गुस्सा जाहिर किया, अभिनेत्री ने सेक्सुअल असॉल्ट के गलत चार्जेस लगने पर कॉलेज प्रोफेसर द्वारा खुदकुशी करने की खबर का हवाला देते हुए अपनी बात कही.
अभिनेत्री ने टवीट में लिखा, 'मुझे इस पर बहुत गुस्सा आता है कि कोई गलत इल्जाम की वजह से अपनी जान ले लेता है और कोई किसी का रेप करके भी खुला घूम रहा है. चाहे तुम मीटू आंदोलन का गलत इस्तेमाल करो या चाहे उसकी विश्वस्नीयता को कम करो, रिजल्ट एक ही होता है- मौत.'

अभिनेत्री उन लोगों के खिलाफ आवाज उठा रहीं हैं जिन्होंने इस आंदोलन के आड़ में गलत इल्जाम लगाए हैं. साथ ही अभिनेत्री ने असली केसेस में जल्दी ट्रायल्स की भी वकालत की.
