नई दिल्ली: कांग्रेस पार्टी ने कोविड-19 महामारी के दौरान एनईईटी और जेईई परीक्षा आयोजित कराने को लेकर केंद्र सरकार पर निशाना साधा. कांग्रेस पार्टी ने कहा कि सरकार की विफलताओं के कारण छात्रों की सुरक्षा से समझौता नहीं किया जाना चाहिए और यह समय है जब केंद्र को कोई भी निर्णय लेने से पहले छात्रों की आवाज सुननी चाहिए.
कांग्रेस की अंतरिम अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी ने अपने वीडियो संदेश में छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि आप हमारे भविष्य हैं, हम एक बेहतर भारत के निर्माण के लिए आप पर निर्भर हैं. इसलिए यदि आपके भविष्य के बारे में कोई निर्णय लेना है तो यह महत्वपूर्ण है कि इसे आपकी सहमति से लिया जाए.

कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि मेरा संदेश भारत सरकार के लिए है. आपने पहले ही उन्हें काफी नुकसान पहुंचाया है, आपने उन्हें चोट पहुंचाई है. कृपया उन्हें सुनें और शांति से इसका समाधान करें.
राहुल गांधी ने अपने वीडियो संदेश में कहा कि आप छात्र हैं और आप इस देश को नई ऊंचाइयों पर ले जाने जा रहे हैं. हर कोई कोविड के दौरान हुई लापरवाही को समझता है. इसकी वजह से काफी तबाही हुई है, आर्थिक संकट से देश को गुजराना पड़ा है. लेकिन मुझे समझ में नहीं आता है कि आपको क्यों परेशानी उठाएंगे. उन्होंने कहा कि कोई भी फैसला आम सहमति और बातचीत के बाद किया जाना चाहिए.

कोविड-19 के प्रकोप के बीच जेईई-एनईईटी परीक्षा के आयोजन पर चिंता व्यक्त करने के लिए कांग्रेस पार्टी एक राष्ट्रव्यापी प्रदर्शन के साथ-साथ एक ऑनलाइन अभियान भी चला रही है. कांग्रेस छात्रों को संक्रमित होने से बचाने के लिए इन परीक्षाओं को स्थगित करने की मांग कर रही है.
कांग्रेस महासचिव प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा ने अपने ट्वीट में सरकार को याद दिलाया कि कम से कम कुछ चीजें राजनीति से परे होनी चाहिए. उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार छात्रों की आवाज को नजरअंदाज नहीं कर सकती. वे हमारे देश का भविष्य हैं. छात्रों को महामारी की चपेट में लाना उचित है क्या ? क्या वे हमारे बच्चे नहीं हैं?
भारतीय युवा कांग्रेस और दिल्ली प्रदेश कांग्रेस समिति ने एक विरोध प्रदर्शन किया जिसमें उनके कई सदस्यों को दिल्ली पुलिस ने हिरासत में ले लिया. इसके अलावा कांग्रेस की छात्र विंग एनएसयूआई के कार्यकर्ता परीक्षाएं स्थगित करने की मांग को लेकर भूख हड़ताल कर रहे हैं.

हालांकि सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहले ही परीक्षाओं को स्थगित करने की मांग ठुकरा चुका है. कोर्ट ने कहा कि जीवन को रोका नहीं जा सकता है. क्या छात्र पूरे एक साल को बर्बाद करने के लिए तैयार हैं?
