Day 4 of the ongoing Budget Session in Parliament today, which began at 11 am today, was a fiery affair as Prime Minister Narendra Modi replied to the motion of thanks on the President's address.

PM Modi lashed out at Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, who made major allegations during his reply to the President's address on Monday. He also hit out at the Congress and its leader Sonia Gandhi, over their remarks on President Droupadi Murmu.

The Prime Minister spoke on the achievements of his government in the last 10 years in different sectors like education, foreign policy, MSMEs, and job creation.

He also lashed out at the Aam Aadmi Party and its national convenor Arvind Kejriwal saying that his government did not use saved money to construct Sheesh Mahal. The Prime Minister also took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi for his remarks on foreign policy and advised him to read the book 'JFK's Forgotten Crisis'.

He also spoke on how the Lakhpadi Didi schemes have empowered the women. Lashing out at Gandhi for his demand for a caste census, Modi highlighted the increase in medical seats for SC, ST and OBC students.

Before PM Modi, a lot of Lok Sabha members spoke on the motion. On Monday, calling President Droupadi Murmu's Jan 31 address "same laundry list" of things the government has done, Rahul targeted the Narendra Modi-led central government, claiming that Make in India had failed, China had occupied Indian territory, and that no government -- UPA or NDA -- had been able to tackle unemployment. Not taking EAM S Jaishankar's name, Gandhi made pointed remarks that the Foreign Minister was sent to the US multiple times to ask them to invite PM Modi to Donald Trump's inauguration as President. He also alleged that as many as 70 lakh new voters were added in Maharashtra between the Lok Sabha and Assembly Elections, most of them in constituencies BJP swept.
