WATCH: White python spotted in Karnataka's Malenadu

A huge white-coloured python was spotted at a house in Kavalkatte village of Karnataka's Malenadu. As the Monsoon approaches, many reptiles and insects leave their habitat in search of safer places. Meanwhile, this white-coloured python, scientifically known as Albino Python entered Noushad's house at Bantwala Taluk in Dakshina Kannada District. This vulnerable species of snake lacks natural pigment and henced does not live much longer. After hours of discussion over the species of the reptile due to its unique colour, snake-catcher Kiran was called to the rescue. Kiran carefully saved the reptile and handed it over to the Forest officer who later sent it to the Pilikula Zoo in Mangaluru.
