Watch: IAF rescues stranded man near Khutaghat Dam in Chhattisgarh

In a daring airlift rescue operation, the Indian Air Force (IAF), on Monday successfully rescued a young man, who got stranded at Khutaghat Dam near Ratanpur area of Bilaspur, after he jumped in the weir on August 16 evening but couldn’t get out due to heavy flow. The man escaped drowning as he held a tree and sat on a stone near the dam. In the operation, the stranded man was taken to safety using ropes dangled from the IAF chopper Mi-17.
