Police team walks 4 kms to rescue an unconscious woman

A team of police officials from Karjat Railway Police saved a woman's life after she fainted near railway tracks. Asha Waghmare, 42 went to forest to collect firewood and she fainted near the railway tracks while she was coming back home. Karjat railway police was alerted about it. The team of officials consisting PI Avinash Andhale, SI Sarkale, Constable Nikesh Turade, Mangesh Gaikwad, Police Naik Dnyaneshwar Gangurde, Kondiram Bansode and Home Guard V D Lobhi rushed to locate the woman in distress. When they reached Palasdari police station, they realized that there is no road ahead. To shorten the distance, they went to Kelavli police station and parked their vehicle before leaving to the spot on foot. When they found that she was still unconscious, they carried her on a sling and walked back to Kelavali station, rushing her to Karjat sub-dist hospital for the treatment later.
