Sharad Pawar should avoid backing Deshmukh, says Ramdas Athawale

Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, who sent a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, demanding President's Rule in Maharashtra, during an interview with ETV Bharat said that Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar is a leader with an unblemished track record and he should not indulge himself in the 'dirty politics'. Athawale, remarks came after Pawar has given a clean chit to Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and termed the allegations against Deshmukh "vague". Further, the Union Minister added that he would be meeting Shah soon to raise the issue.
