Belagavi (Karnataka): At least 400 people have been arrested in connection with the blasphemy case in August last year, police said. Among the accused, more than 250 have been granted bail as a result of legal action taken by the office of Advocate Anees Ali Khan. Speaking to ETV Bharat, Advocate Khan said that all the court proceedings for the release of more than 250 people were conducted by his office and that he has not received any help from anyone in this regard. He said that the arrangements for bail were arranged by the relatives of the accused. Khan added that he received help from the Karnataka Muslim United Front and Muhammad Muzammil.
