Russia will abandon nuclear arms treaty: Putin

Moscow: Russia will abandon a centrepiece nuclear arms treaty, following in the footsteps of the United States, but will only deploy intermediate-range nuclear missiles if Washington does so, President Vladimir Putin said Saturday.
