COVID here to stay at least till 2023: Ex ICMR chief

Amid the increasing number of coronavirus cases in India, former Director General of the ICMR Dr NK Ganguly said that the virus is here to stay at least till 2023. However, he said that India has improved its infrastructure to tackle the pandemic. He also added that another complete lockdown will not be possible, and India will have to resort to restricted interventions like other countries to check the spread of the disease.
