Heart-wrenching photo of mother with dead youth's body goes viral

A heart-wrenching photograph of a hapless mother carrying her dead son in an e-rickshaw has gone viral on social media platforms. Vineet Singh, a resident of Jaunpur, along with his mother Chandrkala Singh had gone to a reputed hospital in Varanasi for treating a kidney-related ailment. However, beds were not available in the hospital due to the rise in Covid-19 cases in the city.

Vineet Singh, a resident of Jaunpur, along with his mother Chandrkala Singh had gone to a reputed hospital in Varanasi for treating a kidney-related ailment. However, beds were not available in the hospital due to the rise in Covid-19 cases in the city.

Vineet's condition deteriorated rapidly but the doctors at the hospital allegedly refused to check his condition. His helpless reportedly mother took him to a private hospital in Kakarmata, only to be turned down there as well.

Vineet breathed his last in front of her hapless mother without receiving any medical help. Vineet used to work in Mumbai and came to his village in Jaunpur last year in December. He was diagnosed with a kidney ailment in Jaunpur.

Rising cases of Coronavirus have already stretched the medical facilities to their limits and therefore some patients are dying without receiving any medical treatments.
