Hapur( Uttar Pradesh): A woman in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh has accused the alleged rape victims of throwing acid at her while she was in her home.
Woman claims of acid attack by rape accused in UP's Hapur
The victim had alleged that the accused forcibly entered her house armed with weapons and assaulted the family members of the victim and after that threw acid on her feet.
The accused, however, fled from the spot after the incident.
The victim suffered some burn injuries and she was admitted to the hospital afterwards where she is undergoing treatment.
The police, however, denied the allegations of the acid attack and termed this incident a dispute about garbage throwing between the two families.
The police are further investigating the matter.
