Ghaziabad: A 23-day-old child, who had tested positive for COVID-19 a fortnight ago, has now tested negative and discharged from the Yashoda Hospital in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad.
As per the information, the toddler's parents were also tested positive a few days ago.
The child was admitted to the hospital after he had developed a breathing issue. Within two weeks, the child has recovered and doctors said he is 'healthy'.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Dr Sachin Dubey said that it took them a lot of efforts to save the child as his oxygen level had gone down and needed respiratory support.
"We are very happy that we could save the child with our efforts. Now his report has come negative and no more oxygen support is needed for him," he added.
